decay

So I know I am a day late (SORRY!!) but and myself have decided to do a weekly challenge of sorts and the first theme was "decay"

This is completely different from what I wanted to do because this week just didn't allow me to do anything I really wanted in terms of art buuut I found this old withered bouquet of roses in the basement that my dad had given my mum years ago and well...here is what I came up with!

Don't the withered petals almost look like old wrinkled skin? And the colors were intended to dull down the rose and add a "sickly" hue
